What would you like to do at Wickiup Hill Outdoor Learning Center?
Are there any program suggestions you have for Wickiup Hill that you would like to see this spring/summer? We would love to hear from you - let us know!
The Wickiup Hill Outdoor Learning Center, a regional outdoor education facility, opened in October 2002. One visit will explain why WHOLA is one of Eastern Iowa's finest destinations.
FEATURES OF THIS UNIQUE FACILITY INCLUDE: * Acres of wetland, prairie, woodland and savanna * 8 miles of of educational and hiking trails * Native American & archaeological exhibits * Interactive prairie, wetland & woodland exhibits * Live native reptile and fish exhibits * Bird viewing area which includes a cascading waterfall over limestone outcroppings
